Boomtown Line-up 2022: Confirmations and rumours

Speculation about this years Boomtown line-up is reaching a fever-pitch. The festival have made the unusual step of deciding to keep the line-up a secret until just one week before the festival.

But with everyone keen to know who might be appearing this year, the thirst for line-up news and rumours has never been greater. You’re in luck, as we’ve managed to confirm over 120 acts so far, as well as at least 90 more rumoured artists.

Why is the Boomtown Line-Up being kept secret?

There are two reasons, in the view of Boomtown Source, why it’s an advantage to keep the line-up a secret:

The ability to book acts which have exclusive deals with other “corporate” festivals. These deals often stop independent festivals like Boomtown from announcing them on a poster. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be booked secretly.
Because discovering new music is half the fun of Boomtown. The festival is about more than just acts on a poster. It’s good to know the big acts we all love will still be there. And from what we’ve heard so far, no-one will be disappointed on that front.

Boomtown Source has reason to believe that the below acts have a high chance of being at Boomtown 2022. A lot of these acts appear on the cancelled 2020 Boomtown line-up poster, so could have rolled over to 2022.
